Morning Gratitude

• the viveros (plant nurseries) in Mexico that are full of life and pops of color
• wandering home without a set route- with all the time in the world
• stopping to touch the small plants growing in cracks in the concrete sidewalk
• noticing beautiful, old parts of houses
• lavender
• creamy Bailey’s flavored ice cream
• pausing to have a seat on the park bench
• dogs with sweet faces who jauntily stroll through the park
• clouds rolling through a clear blue sky
• spicy samosas
• having a loved one pull you close
• watching the lightning dance outside the window
• a powerful thunderstorm to remind you that you’re not in control
• the cool, damp, and quiet morning after a storm
• And of course, coffee.
