Morning Gratitude

• sounds of birds
• cool early morning air
• closing my eyes and being
• sitting so still that a hummingbird hovers above me
• watching the hummingbirds come to the feeder
• the incredible flap of their wings and how I can feel it vibrate in my own chest
• their brilliant and metallic colors- one with a purple head and others with teal bodies and tails
• coffee with baileys
• besos
• cuddles with the cat on my shag rug
• preparing butter chicken for the crockpot
• realizing that you can’t take work too seriously
