Songkran is my all time favorite holiday - it’s a joyful, giant water fight - with super soakers, buckets of ice water, and hoses. 😜🔫💦

This is my third New Years celebration in the last 4 months. 😂 I celebrated traditional NYE with fireworks over the Brisbane skyline with one of the great loves of my life. I was in Bali for Nyepi, Balinese New Year, which is a day of complete silence on the island.. cell phone services are turned off, there are no cars on the roads, and nobody leaves their house. It’s an incredible time to be in Bali. Now, I’m lucky enough to be back in Thailand for Songkran, ringing in the lunar new year completed soaked. ✌🏼💦

What can I say? I’m a sucker for new beginnings. 😉

Edit: This was originally a post about a yoga & sailing retreat I was to be hosting later in 2024, but I have postponed it!

I’m following my heart & intuition in knowing that this isn’t quite the right time for me… but I know it will be someday. All in good time. ☺️🙏🏽

Honestly my face says it all 😂☺️

Today is my last day at @selina.australia 🥹 It has been such a pleasure to wake up everyday and teach yoga to guests from all over the world. 🌍💕

I spent December at Selina Brisbane and January in St. Kilda (Melbourne). During the last 9 weeks I’ve taught about 70 yoga classes.

I’ve reconnected to yoga in a new way. I’ve reconnected to teaching, and I’ve embraced my voice in a bigger way, as a way to lead and guide.

I’ve rediscovered just how much I love teaching yoga, so I’m returning to Bali in March to immerse myself in my 200 hour training once more. I also have a yoga retreat in the works for later this year… more on that coming soon. 😏🥳

So incredibly grateful for this opportunity and for all the wonderful connections and chats with the lovely peeps who joined my classes. 💕✨

I could weep thinking about how fast time moves h

I could weep thinking about how fast time moves

how everything shifts under our feet both subtly and all at once

how we look forward to things for so long and then they’re over

how we look back on the normal, uneventful nights with the most nostalgia

how we longingly hope that the ones we love will change their minds

how we sink into place & new becomes home: city, coffee shop, bridge

how effortlessly we fall into step with strangers and for a brief moment in time we’re drunk in the city center dancing, laughing, singing down the streets

how we hug goodbye before we understand how special it all was

how fast everything slips into a new now

a now that will soon be a memory, remembered with a fond smile and a twitch of the heart

a now that we can never quite grasp the depth of until it’s over

2023, whoa. It was the year I started a podcast an

2023, whoa. It was the year I started a podcast and made a commitment to use my voice in a bigger way.

It was snowy trips to the mountains with friends & sibs and a murder mystery party for @purdy.pics

This year was Path of Love Retreat in Italy with all its release, opening, expansion, crying, dancing. I was reminded yet again how fast strangers can become family.

This year brought many reunions with Camino family….

There was cuddling in a tent in Scotland with @fbrownwork at Eden Festival- with glitter all over. There was strolling around Amsterdam with @ivanrijn laughing like we did on the Camino.

There was the last days of 2023 with @tash767 and Chris- driving on flooded mountain roads, playing cards & walking on the beach

For a lot of the year, there was confusion about what was to come… & many, many job applications.

There was a full circle moment when I returned to Path of Love as staff and had the honor of witnessing the opening and expansion of others. There were realizations and so much letting go, over and over.

There was a lot of writing, and the bliss of having 2 pieces of writing selected as finalists in writing contests.

2023 is the year I returned to Spain. Went topless on the beach in Cadiz. Had a Guinness in Dublin. Stood in the middle of Genova eating gelato and marveling at the beauty of Europe. My favorite moment may have been petting cows up in the Dolomites.

At the end of November, I packed everything up and set off on my nomadic journey…

There’s been beautiful new hellos and hard goodbyes, and I’m reminded over and over again that living life in this way is transitory and magical and painful all at the same time.

My heart is open and I’m alive in every way, and I keep taking moments to remind myself that right now I’m living a life I only once dreamed of….

Exciting news, folks.. in 2 weeks, I’ll be en ro

Exciting news, folks.. in 2 weeks, I’ll be en route to Australia where I’ll be teaching yoga for 2 months. 🥳🧘‍♀️

I also have a new, part time job with one of the largest retreat booking websites, AND it’s remote 😏😏😏

I’m currently packing up life as I know it in Colorado, so that I can try on the nomadic lifestyle. I don’t know what’s after Australia.. but it’s an “I don’t know”in the most exciting & liberating way.

Perhaps I’ll find myself in Thailand or Bali for month.. (I’m longing to return to both- it’s been awhile!) or maybe another opportunity comes along… we’ll see! I’m open to it all. I can’t wait to teach yoga again, meet fabulous new people, soak in new & old places & revel in this undefined journey.

I do know it’s going to be me and my suitcase, and that feels right. ✨🧳
